EAGLE NEST...

ADVENTURE BASE CAMP

LIFE IS NOT A DRESS REHEARSAL.  START YOUR JOURNEY

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. The winds will blow their own freshness into you,and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.”  - John Muir

Perhaps it is a mythical place where all your senses are heightened, where there is an extra spring in your step, where life is more dynamic, where the scent of pine, sagebrush & wood smoke permeate mountain air; perhaps more, where all you have ever been, and all you hope to be, promise to unite in a way that exists in no other place.  For some such a place exists...

Eagle Nest in New Mexico's awe-inspiring Moreno Valley...THE LAST BEST PLACE IN THE ROCKIES!

Nowhere is there such a convergence of spiritual landscapes, ancient sites and natural wonders. It is where the Rocky Mountains meet the Southwest. Thirteen thousand foot peaks rise abruptly from the plains, rivers carve deep canyons that spill out to the high desert. It is home to buffalo, pronghorn, deer and elk, forests, prairies, extinct volcanoes and alpine tundra. The diversity of flora, fauna and land forms is mind-boggling!

Here is where the past blends seamlessly with the present and both rest easily on the land. What a breath-taking backdrop for a full range of indulgences - fly fishing blue-ribbon trout waters, gourmet dining, skiing the steeps, visiting historical landmarks, mountain biking, a day on the links, snow- kiting, gambling, hiking, snow shovel racing, hunting, rafting, snowboarding, gallery and museum-hopping or just kicking back!

A land almost incomprehensible in scope! Adventure is at your beck and call.
